On Friday night, Kendra Scott welcomed a room full of amazing women to her Austin Headquarters for a happy hour, exclusive office tour, and three-course dinner by Juniper.

The company Scott began in her apartment now takes over the entire 6th floor of the building and includes a nail salon for employees (they sign up for slots on Monday in a Google doc), a pumping room for new mothers, a play area for employees' children, a gym, and yes, a snack room with just about everything you might need throughout a day.

Toasting to the table of amazing women, Scott excitedly said, “You’re having dinner inside my dream. I was told ‘no’ so many times— that you can’t be a brand out of Texas.”

“But,” she said with a smile, “I love it when someone tells me I can’t do something.”

‘We are a company of 98 percent women and we feed off of each other every day,” the business woman and mom of three boys continued. “I always say, I’m running a company bigger today than it was the night before.”

It’s the Texas way. Which, is exactly why Scott said she paired boots with her navy Self-Portrait dress. “I had to Austin it up a bit,” she told C&C founder Jaclyn Johnson. Boots, which were clearly made for walking straight into boardrooms.

The guests gathered and dined on three amazing courses provided by Chef Yanes of Juniper. A menu of: Little lettuces with crispy parmesan, fried shallots, toasted bread crumbs, honey shallot vinaigrette, and fresh herbs, a "Juniper Red Lasagna" made with house semolina dough, fresh ricotta, mozzarella, and braised oxtails, and a "Milk and Honey" dessert, crafted with white chocolate pana cotta, chamomile froyo, egg white crisp, and toasted oats.

Liz Plank, Senior Correspondent at Vox Media said, "Salads aren’t supposed to taste this good." Other guests, like Hannah Hart, Grace Helbig, and Mamrie Hart listened intently during the office tour as Scott explained the stone setting process in the company’s design room— a restricted access area in the expansive HQ.

Over the course of the evening Jenn Im chatted with fellow blogger and panelist Rach Martino. Nicolette Mason and the always-hilarious Courtney Kerr gushed about Sam Lansky, author of The Gilded Razor, whose book was recently optioned by C&C speaker Sheri Salata.

No detail was overlooked. Even the placecards were written in gold on beautiful agate stones (seriously, check out the photos). It was a night to remember, celebrating the hard work of empowered and boss ladies. Browse the above photo album to get an exclusive BTS peek.
