At C&C we’re a team, through and through. Which means when we hit up cities for conferences we always stay together in our HomeAway from home.
We pull late nights. We rise at the crack of dawn. And like our “Stronger Together,” panel at Create & Cultivate SXSW, we know that we are better together and under one roof. It makes ALL the difference.
We got into the groove of Austin staying in this gorgeous Victorian built in 1920. Minutes from our venue and downtown, it had storybook vibes, wood floors, shiplap walls, and granite countertops in the kitchen. Every detail was ‘grammable-- which, is exactly how we like it at C&C. (Bonus points for the perfect use of wallpaper.)
With a front porch made for early morning coffee to bathrooms big enough for us all to gather in at the end of the night, it made our stay in Austin all the easier. It didn’t hurt that one of our favorite restaurants (Clark’s Oyster Bar) in Austin was RIGHT down the street. And the OG Outdoor Voices was just a few blocks away as well. It’s location was prime for a group of women heading to SXSW. Seriously, the location does not get better than this (and when you’re going back and forth from home to venue, it matters).

Pulling up to this Victorian was a dream. Any time we head out of town it’s an amazing bonus to stay in a home that feels, well, like a home. We may not have had time for a good old fashioned “sit,” but many, many coffees were had on that porch.
Inside the home, vibes were even better. And the furniture was perfect for plopping on at the end of a 12-hour day.
Yes, that’s a personal vanity and four-poster bed. Which, ps, had the world’s softest sheets. Better than any hotel we’ve ever stayed at.
We may have gabbed in this kitchen at 5am the morning of Create & Cultivate SXSW. When you have to rise before the sun does, it helps when a home looks this good.
Exactly where we sat the morning after #createcultivatesxsw. Tired but energized, everyone on our team pulled up a chair and shared favorite moments from the day before including: Mamrie Hart giving all attendees a good dose of laughter, the LINE around the BLOCK (which, we couldn’t believe), and Kristen Bell staying after her panel to meet every.single.fan who wanted to snap a shot.
