Who knew we would all be working from home all year? Luckily, our founder, is a master at creating warm & welcome spaces.
When the shelter in home order hit Los Angeles, I think it was safe to say everyone assumed that we would maybe be working from home a month at best. When the pandemic, didn’t seem to let up and more and more of Create & Cultivate’s IRL events were getting cancelled the company shifted gears and pivoted hard into the digital space.
Luckily, our audience was right there alongside us and as our company who was once on planes, trains and automobiles the majority of the year, found themselves at home… a lot. And when Jaclyn could no longer dream up C&C stages she turned her attentions to her home and created a warm inviting space perfect for working from home.
WFH IN THE LIVING ROOM.
WFH IN THE DINING AREA & KITCHEN
Jaclyn teamed up with CB2 to anchor the open floor plan kitchen and dining area. Usually, Jaclyn will wind down her days here as she is prepping for dinner or a glass of wine at the end of a busy day. The open shelving concept of the kitchen provided tons of styling opportunities for layering adding books, glassware and ceramics to create a functional and fabulous look.
WFH IN THE OFFICE.
This is where Jaclyn spends most of her day when working from home. She opted for a larger built in desk she created with California Closets. The desk offers tons of storage for files, printers and, of course, Create & Cultivate Planners! The pink chair by Hem studios is perfect for her dogs to perch up and nap throughout the day.
WFH BED & BATH
Look if there is one thing we can all attest to is working from bed is the best! Leveling up from there? working from the bathtub. During this pandemic, we have all taken self care to extreme levels and our founder is no different! Especially on weekends, cozying up with your laptop in bed or scrolling your feed while soaking in the tub is a luxury we all can get behind. Jaclyn completely re-did the bathroom to feature FireClay tile & Cambria Quartz.
Working from home sometimes means NEVER leaving your house. Getting a much needed dose of Vitamin D and sunshine is so important and often times overlooked. When it came to the outdoor spaces, Jaclyn wanted it to feel like a living room, outside. Cozy and comfortable so she teamed up with Pottery Barn to create an incredible space (pup approved!) for a quick 30 minute phone call or social distanced wine meeting.
WFH EVERYWHERE IN BETWEEN
Let’s get real, working from home knows no bounds and finding the balance between the blurred lines of life and work is harder than ever. Jaclyn teamed up with women owned business, Concrete Collaborative to add fun Terrazzo details throughout!
