Director of Accounts

Create & Cultivate is seeking a Director of Accounts  to join the fast-paced start-up team in Los Angeles, California.  Reporting into the General Manager, the ideal candidate has extensive client and project management experience with a holistic understanding of events and campaigns across both IRL and digital landscapes from sale through execution and reporting.  They are highly organized, an excellent communicator, and have a process-oriented mindset, keeping both internal teams and external clients informed and on-track.  Agency experience is required.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

  • Develop, manage, and grow relationships with new and existing clients

  • Effectively and efficiently manage projects of various scopes and sizes ensuring all components flow cohesively and sequentially according timelines

  • Ensure client satisfaction on all projects through effective communication and management, being solution-oriented, and tracking towards goals and KPIs

  • Work closely with General Manager surrounding the drafting and negotiation of contracts, as well as invoicing

  • Work closely with Senior Director of Sales and Partnerships to transition projects from sale to kick-off phases

  • Develop detailed workback schedules for all projects, consulting with Senior team members in each respective department(s) involved for input as needed

  • Lead internal and external project calls, ensuring materials are circulated for reference accordingly

  • Lead and/or manage email communication for projects both internally and externally

  • Obtain and/or oversee client approvals throughout the duration of a project as needed

  • Work collaboratively with Senior team to formulate, analyze and approve reports and case studies with the support of junior team members

  • Direct management of junior team members

  • Work collaboratively to establish and streamline processes internally between departments to enhance efficiency of workflow.

  • Actively contribute ideas and information during internal meetings and/or brainstorms

  • Serve as the main point-of-contact for clients on-site at events

WHAT YOU’LL HAVE:

  • 7+ years of experience in a similar role, with at least 2 years of experience managing multiple direct reports

  • Experience at an experiential and/or media agency

  • A deep understanding of (and excitement for) 360 degree integrated events and campaigns

  • Highly organized, detailed-oriented, comfortable juggling multiple tasks on deadline and able to work well among individuals, teams and external partners

  • A solution-oriented mindset and strong assessment skills with the ability to make strategic suggestions and/or escalate accordingly

  • Proficiency working with Asana (or other similar management tool)

  • Experience drafting and negotiating contracts

  • A strong communicator with the skill set to oversee and/or run point multiple projects simultaneously

  • Excellent writing skills and communication etiquette

  • Solid understanding of data and its power to help inform overall growth strategy to ensure monthly KPIs are met and surpassed

  • Time management and logistics pro

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced start-up environment

  • Respects deadlines and takes accountability and ownership of responsibilities with an innate understanding of how to work within a team

  • Desire to travel as needed for events

  • Familiarity with CRM systems preferred

Associate Account Manager

Reporting to: Sr. Director of Accounts

We are looking for a detail obsessed Associate Account Manager that has experience in account management. This person will lead and manage accounts corresponding with clients while project managing the programs every step of the way:

  • Project management and oversight of campaigns and partnerships

  • Highly proficient in using Asana; creating projects and assigning tasks across multiple departments (marketing, design, production, talent, editorial), as well as overall management

  • Understanding of social media platforms, metrics and programs is a must; being able to speak about campaigns and programs in the digital & IRL space

  • excellent cross team communication skills ensuring team is performing and on task to ensure completion and delivery of perfect campaigns

  • Lead and/or support client communication, as well as internal communication to ensure deadlines are met and expectations exceeded

  • Ability to manage clients from kick off to Reporting ensuring clearly aligned goals and communication throughout

  • Ability to multi task across multiple projects at any given time

  • Create workback schedules and agendas for client projects and calls

  • Strong copy writing skills across site, social and newsletter with the ability to grasp and maintain the tone of C&C’s brand voice and mission

  • Ownership of recap reports and case studies; providing insights and analysis

Operations Coordinator

Reporting to: the Operations Manager, you will assist with administrative tasks, scheduling for the CEO and provide support for events.

  • Support the Director of Biz Dev in Managing client relationships

  • Put together a pipeline of new business opportunities and pro-actively outreach to clients

  • Manage a CRM platform and system for existing clients daily

  • Update event spreadsheets with hot leads and aggressively follow up on new business opportunities

  • Support on reporting metrics and data as needed to encourage clients to onboard with C&C

  • Draft contracts for clients and ensure all items are buttoned up and delivered on time

  • Manage inbound sales emails and organize by category

  • Update and refresh sales decks regularly

  • Work with accounts team on in kind opportunities and strategic partnerships

  • Take thorough notes on all clients call and manage existing database updating and segmenting as needed

Senior Manager, Talent Relations

Overview: Full Time 

Office: 1201 N Main Street (currently remote)

Level: Mid

Reporting to: General Manager

This full-time role lives and breathes talent (both celebrity and influencer, as well as Founders, CEOs and entrepreneurs) for all things C&C – events and speaking opps, brand partnerships, campaigns and paid posts.  This mid-level role is for someone with experience who is also a doer and is eager to learn.  They are highly organized with strong communication skills and can work cross-functionally with other team members and departments across projects. 

 Key Responsibilities are including, but not limited to:

  • Assist with the negotiation and drafting of talent deal points – both for monetary and in-kind – under the guidance of General Manager and CEO

  • Build talent trackers, continually updating across digital and bespoke events with support from Talent Coordinator

  • Attend kick-off and weekly calls (internal and external) for new campaign briefings and coordination of action items in regards to talent and paid talent social media

  • Take notes during client calls and make recommendations based on goals and needs

  • Research and outreach for talent surrounding all events and speaking opps, brand partnerships, campaigns and paid posts

  • Work closely with Accounts, Marketing and Editorial/Content to build project timelines, contributing key details pertaining to talent

  • Create detailed talent briefs and work closely with Editorial, Content and Production on introductions and next steps as necessary based on talent scope and obligations

  • Work closely with Production for day-of digital event timing and wrangling of talent as needed upon request

  • Work closely with Brand Marketing for intros/hand-off to coordinate media interviews for talent when/where applicable

  • Handle and coordinate communications with talent pertaining to paid posts, and ensure posts go live with correct imagery, caption and tags with approvals as needed in advance of posting

  • Screen-grabbing and organizing any success metrics related to campaigns

  • Gather paid talent analytics and reporting (social captures, pageviews, campaign highlights) from internal teams for wrap reports upon campaign completion

  • Post-event talent thank you notes/emails and follow up with support from Talent Coordinator

  • Organize and develop talent database (existing) with key information and details and status notes with support from Talent Coordinator

  • Manage talent invites and RSVPs with support from Talent Coordinator

  • Coordinate talent gifting (when applicable) with support from Talent Coordinator
