Marketing Manager

We are on the lookout for a Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. This role requires a candidate who can blend creative ideation with data-driven decision-making, managing a broad spectrum of responsibilities across our brand’s diverse portfolio, including events, membership, podcast, products, newsletter, and more. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in marketing funnels, paid advertising campaigns, and optimizing for conversions, with a keen understanding of the balance between creative marketing strategies and analytical approaches to drive consumer acquisition, engagement, and retention. Background in events & media company is a plus!

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

General:

  • Develop and implement an overarching marketing strategy across all Create & Cultivate platforms, including social media, ensuring content is engaging and on-brand.

  • Ideate new 360 campaign and franchise ideas aimed at driving business goals and brand purpose;

  • Actively manage all social media handles, creating and scheduling assets for each platform.

  • Analyze data for reports and case studies, working closely with the team to enhance workflow efficiency.

  • Develop and implement the social media strategy across all handles (@createcultivate and @workparty) and platforms, ensuring content is well-balanced and on-brand.

  • Work collaboratively to establish and streamline processes internally between departments to enhance the efficiency of workflow.

  • Develop strategic initiatives surrounding audience acquisition, retention, and growth. across email marketing, social media marketing, and membership.

  • Drive initiatives for audience acquisition, retention, and growth, with a particular emphasis on building effective marketing funnels and managing paid ad campaigns across platforms to ensure maximum reach and conversion.

  • Develop and execute the strategy for our weekly newsletter, from conceptualization to distribution, ensuring content aligns with our overall marketing goals.

  • Craft compelling content that resonates with our audience, keeping them informed and engaged with the latest from Create & Cultivate.

  • Manage the end-to-end process, including content creation, layout design, subscriber segmentation, and analytics tracking to optimize engagement rates.

  • Assist in identifying top-performing content categories and channels, and concept new ways to innovate branded content opportunities

  • Submit briefs and collaborate with the Creative team to design and build new website landing pages as needed

Events: 

  • Create and implement marketing strategy and promotion for all C&C events (Summits, festivals, retreats, masterminds, and more) including wireframe for general site build, ticketing, assets and collateral, promotional materials, speaker announcements, email, and social media strategy

  • Secure videographer and photographer per event with approved budget. Develop details shot lists to ensure all needs are captured. Manage photo/video team on-site at events.

  • Review and approve all video sizzle compilations per event ensuring all deliverables are met and the final product well represents the event itself

  • Post-conference - oversee surveys, newsletter, and event recap reports for client and internal event feedback and learnings

  • Oversee social media strategy for all events

  • Assist in developing a press and media strategy and manage external PR agency both pre-event and on-site surrounding talent interviews and brand obligations

Membership:

  • Work collaboratively with the community manager to brainstorm ways to continually evolve and grow C&C’s Membership across all touchpoints

  • Develop, implement, and evolve a paid marketing strategy that focuses on new member acquisition and measurable growth

  • Develop, implement, and evolve a marketing strategy that focuses on member retention and increased offerings

  • Develop and oversee the overarching calendar of events, announcements, and perks, as well as establish a detailed plan as to how all is communicated externally

  • Oversee all marketing assets for final approval (videos, graphics, newsletters, etc.)

  • Manage and implement necessary updates to the website

WorkParty Podcast:

  • Develop and oversee season and episode planning inclusive of topics and talent

  • Manage and assist with talent booking, podcast audio and ad recordings per episode

  • Develop and implement a promotional strategy across site, newsletter and social media

  • Identify cross-promotion and/or press opportunities and implement accordingly

  • Work collaboratively with podcast studio to manage the overall calendar, inclusive of air dates and in-episode ads

  • Oversee all assets for final approval (scripts, audio, social, newsletter, etc.)

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of experience in marketing roles, with proven success in managing projects and teams.

  • Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, preferably within the events, media, or related industry.

  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, capable of managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

  • Proficient in managing website backends, particularly WordPress or Squarespace.

  • Skilled in using Mailchimp and Flodesk for email marketing campaigns.

  • Experience with Monday.com for project management.

  • Excellent communication skills, capable of overseeing multiple projects and collaborating effectively.

  • A strong grasp of data analysis to inform growth strategies and achieve KPIs.

  • Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines with professionalism.

  • Exceptional writing skills, with attention to grammar and brand voice.

  • Proficient in using Canva for creating visually compelling marketing assets for social media, newsletters, and other marketing materials. Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator is a significant plus, offering the ability to undertake more advanced design tasks.

  • Strong copywriting skills across site, social, and newsletter with the ability to grasp and maintain the tone of C&C’s brand voice and mission

  • Willingness to travel for events and engagements as needed.

Associate Account Manager

We are looking for a detail-obsessed Associate Account Manager who has experience in account management. This person will lead and manage accounts corresponding with clients while project managing the programs every step of the way:

WHAT YOU’LL DO:

General:

  • Project management and oversight of campaigns and partnerships

  • Highly proficient in using Asana; creating projects and assigning tasks across multiple departments (marketing, design, production, talent, editorial), as well as overall management

  • Understanding of social media platforms, metrics, and programs is a must; being able to speak about campaigns and programs in the digital & IRL space

  • Excellent cross-team communication skills ensuring the team is performing and on task to ensure the completion and delivery of perfect campaigns

  • Lead and/or support client communication, as well as internal communication to ensure deadlines are met and expectations exceeded

  • Ability to manage clients from kick-off to reporting ensuring clearly aligned goals and communication throughout

  • Ability to multi-task across multiple projects at any given time

What You Will Do:

  • Set and exceed annual and quarterly revenue targets, focusing on digital and in-person event sponsorships.

  • Generate new business revenue by self-sourcing leads and responding promptly to inbound leads.

  • Increase revenue from existing customers through strategic upselling and cross-selling, enhancing our digital and in-person sponsorship offerings.
