Part Time Accountant


Overview: Part Time

Level: Mid to Senior

Responsibilities:

  • Accounts Receivable

  • Check Cutting / Vendor Managment

  • Tax documentation collection and organization

  • Payroll inputting and management

  • Credit Card verification and reconciliation

  • Monthly Close and reconciliation

  • Monthly OPEX and projections

  • Budget management and close

  • Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports.

  • Answers accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.

  • Maintains customer confidence and protects operations by keeping financial information confidential.

  • Assure timely collection of monies due to corporation.

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years experience as in house accountant

  • Experience in Quickbooks

  • Experience in high volume and multi vendor systems

  • Excellent time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize as needed.

  • Resourceful, can-do attitude that thrives in an entrepreneurial, fast-paced environment.

Office Manager

Overview: Full Time

Level: Entry

The Create & Cultivate coordinator will be a powerhouse for administrative support and liaison for the team.

Role:

Admin & Coordination

  • Coordination of any and all needs around the office from HR to Coffee Runs

  • Onboard new employees and ensure all forms and details are filled out

  • Ensure office is functioning in a smooth capacity

  • Assist on projects and research where needing

  • Support on accounting and financial aspect from filing to form completion

  • Maintain database of attendees daily and assist with updating all event spreadsheets

  • Assist in organizing and mailing event badges for attendees

  • Getting lunch and coffee, ordering office and event supplies, and running errands for production. 

Customer Service

  • Assist with customer service by answering attendee emails and questions in regards to business

  • Handle any requests from attendees leading up to event

  • Provide social media, production, and operation teams with support when needed

Assist C-Suite on coordination

  • Maintain calendar of C-suite executives by scheduling meetings and phone calls

  • Manage heavy inbox with calendaring across multiple time zones

  • Coordinate and schedule business travel

  • Schedule personal appointments and needs

Senior Event Producer

Overview: Full Time

Office: DTLA

Level: Mid to Senior depending on experience

Reporting to: CEO

The senior event producer will co-lead all production elements within the company as well as act as the liaison between our production company and our sponsor partners. We are looking for a bad ass event expert who carries around measuring tape with them at all times and can negotiate the hell out of a vendor contract, is that you? Keep reading!

  • Account management skills; able to manage multiple sponsor relationships at once ensuring their production needs are met with 110% enthusiasm, client facing skill or agency work a plus!

  • Ability to manage budgets from start to finish ensuring we are meeting budget goals, working closely with accounting team on fulfilling and overseeing budgets

  • Down to work! We are a startup so weekends and late nights are par for the course;

  • All hands on deck mentality where you are eager and willing to jump in and help to get the job done!

  • Agency experience required (small production agencies and large production welcome)

Role:

  • Help manage and oversee all sponsor production related events and activations ranging from small scale influencer dinners to our very large scale conferences

  • Ensuring our production is buttoned up and handled from A-Z

  • Ability to do renderings, CAD and other technical skills associated with event design and production

  • Ability to knock out a to scale floorplan providing feedback on best flow of events

  • In love with all things AV and understands how to vet an AV contract, create cue-to-cue sheets, handle stage programming, show calling, etc.

  • Manage event insurance needs ranging from COIs from partners and vendors to our own needs

  • Managing budgets - understanding the landscape of costs and ensuring we are staying within budget

  • Manage freelance producers and event agencies ongoing to ensure we are hitting goals and ensuring sponsors are having an incredible experience

  • Managing 5+ events at a time and being able to mmulti-task and keep things organized

  • Excellent communication skills and email acumen

  • Pure Event Production (nationwide and beyond!) and getting your hands dirty!

  • Sourcing Vendors (AV, Floral, Catering, Staffing)

  • Permitting

  • Gathering Quotes (tenting, flooring, fabrication)

  • Vetting Quotes

  • Budget Management - a wizard with excel spread

  • Handling Floor plans CAD drawings and specs

  • Ensuring team is Leveraging In-Kind Sponsors

  • ROS creation

  • Vendor communication

  • Fabrication sourcing

  • Creative ideation

  • On Site Coordination

  • All things load-in & load-out

  • Proficiency with google docs, dropbox and keynote!
