Senior Event Producer

Overview: Full Time

Office: Pacific Design Center

Level: Mid to Senior depending on experience

Reporting to: CEO

The senior event producer will be the lead for all production elements within the company as well as act as the liaison between our production company and our sponsor partners. We are looking for a bad ass event expert who carries around measuring tape with them at all times and can negotiate the hell out of a vendor contract, is that you? Keep reading!

Vibes:

  • Thrive in small team environment; self starter and time management wiz!

  • Account management skills; able to manage multiple sponsor relationships at once ensuring their production needs are met with 110% enthusiasm, client facing skill or agency work a plus!

  • Ability to manage budgets from start to finish ensuring we are meeting budget goals, working closely with accounting team on fulfilling and overseeing budgets

  • Down to work! We are a startup so weekends and late nights are par for the course;

  • All hands on deck mentality where you are eager and willing to jump in and help to get the job done!

  • Thrives in a fast paced environment and can make decisions quickly

  • Agency experience required (small production agencies and large production welcome) 

Role:

  • Oversee and manage all sponsor production related events and activations ranging from small scale influencer dinners to our large scale conferences

  • Managing our production team ensuring our production is buttoned up and handled from A-Z

  • Manage event insurance needs ranging from COIs from partners and vendors to our own needs

  • Managing budgets - understanding the landscape of costs and ensuring we are staying within budget realm

  • Manage freelance producers and event agencies ongoing to ensure we are hitting goals and ensuring sponsors are having an incredible experience

  • Managing 4-5 events at a time and being able to multi task and keep things organized  

  • Team management this role has three people reporting into them

  • Excellent communication skills and email acumen

  • Pure Event Production (nationwide and beyond!)  and loving getting your hands dirty!

    • Sourcing Vendors (AV, Floral, Catering, Staffing)

    • Permitting

    • Gathering Quotes (tenting, flooring, fabrication)

    • Vetting Quotes

    • Budget Management - a wizard with excel spread

    • Handling Floor plans CAD drawings and specs

    • Ensuring team is Leveraging In Kind Sponsors

    • ROS creation

    • Vendor communication

    • Fabrication sourcing

    • Creative ideation

    • On Site Coordination

    • Set up  / Strike

  • Proficiency with google docs, dropbox and keynote a plus!

Junior Producer

Overview: Full Time

The junior producer  will be the main support for the hub for all production elements within the company as well as act as the liaison between our production company and our sponsor partners.

Role:

  • Oversee and manage all sponsor production related events and activations ranging from small scale influencer dinners to our large scale conferences

  • Maintaining Sponsor Database daily and updating sponsor mailing list

  • Coordinating and scheduling sponsor calls as relevant

  • Keeping notes on all sponsor calls and following up

  • Budget Management and organization

    • Working with coordinator on registration details and help streamlining badge process

  • Contracting and ensuring we are meeting our deal points

Social Media Coordinator 

Create & Cultivate is seeking a motivated Social Media Coordinator to support the Marketing department by coordinating the company’s social media initiatives. This role will also be responsible for helping to build a strong, engaged community.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Increase social presence, fan base and engagement on social networks, events, and partner collaborations

  • Collaborate with marketing team on strategy, planning and execution of all social initiatives and campaigns

  • Conceive and execute strategy to drive traffic to long form blog content across all channels

  • Manually post approved content across across channels

  • Manage all Social Media platforms including IG STORIES

  • Identify and interpret social media trends and be aware/proactive on new platforms and tools

  • Translate quantitative and qualitative data to support actionable social media engagement plans for continuous improvement

  • Other duties as assigned

REQUIREMENTS

  • Proven track record of increasing brand audience and engagement

  • Bachelor’s degree in English, journalism, marketing, communications, or related field

  • 3+ years of experience in media/social media (media company preferred)

  • Demonstrate creativity and documented immersion in social media

  • Data/Analytics reporting

  • Display in-depth knowledge and understanding of social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.), their respective audiences and how each platform can be deployed in different scenarios

  • Excellent writing and language skills

Editorial Intern

We are looking for an Editorial Intern to assist the team with writing & editing for upcoming C&C events. This is a fast-paced, hands-on opportunity to nurture your production skills.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work closely with the Editorial + Marketing team planning & executing weekly blog + social media content

  • Conduct research on articles, profiles, and brand partners

  • Participate in the writing and ideation of stories for the Create & Cultivate brands

  • Support project management for our many editorial projects

  • Assist the Editorial + Marketing team in administrative and organizational tasks

QUALIFICATIONS

  • This Internship is for college credit only, but a huge opportunity to build a great portfolio! Applicants are required to be a currently-enrolled college or university student working towards a degree.
