Take 10 Minutes for a Hairstyle That Will Last 10 Hours

The last thing the Create & Cultivate staff has time to think about day of the conference is themselves. Which, after a long week of production prep and late nights, can result in some rather hairy, literally, looks. Luckily, Nick Stenson from Matrix was on hand to give us a few tricks, tips, and product helps that can turn any caffeine-fueled-work-weekend-hair into a polished and professional coif. Because while there is no such thing as a 40-hour work week when you're attempting to run the world a la Beyonce, there is a 10-minute hairDO.

Apply Matrix Biolage Waterless Dry Shampoo to refresh 2nd day hair and spray directly on to the roots. 

Begin sectioning off your hair and apply Matrix StyleLink Heat Buffer before you begin curling.

Begin curling from the bottom up, and after you curl each section, hold and grasp the curl to avoid prom curls. Repeat steps 2 and 3 until all hair is curled.

After you have finished curling, add Matrix StyleLink Texture Builder about four to five inches away from the roots. 

To finish off the look, apply Matrix Total Results High Amplify Hairspray Flexible Hold Hairspray for extra shine and hold. Lightly mist and finger rake for a full-bodied finished style.
