FROM beauty queen TO BUSINESSWOMAN TO new mom,
Olivia Culpo, is entering a chapter that feels less about chasing and more about choosing with intention.
Since marrying Christian McCaffrey in 2024 and welcoming daughter Colette in 2025, the model, investor, and host has traded constant hustle for a more grounded kind of ambition centered on family, balance, and building things that actually excite her.
Whether she’s stepping into the venture capital world, preparing to launch a new company, or hosting Next Gen Chef, Culpo is approaching every opportunity with the same all-in energy that made her a star in the first place. Warm, thoughtful, and self-aware, she’s showing us that reinvention doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. Read about Olivia Culpo’s journey in her C&C 100 interview below.
How would you describe this current chapter of your life?
A lot has changed in the best way. I got married in 2024 and welcomed our daughter Colette in 2025. My work has shifted toward a more integrated work life balance, where my personal life and projects naturally overlap. I travel less now to be present with my family, and when I do, it is often to support Christian at his games. I am also preparing to launch a company later this year, which has been a big focus.
How has becoming a mom changed your approach to work?
It has made me much more intentional with my time. I am lucky to have a strong support system, which allows me to keep working, but I am very focused on efficiency. When I am working, I am fully in, and when I am with my family, I am all theirs.
What is a risk you have taken recently that paid off?
Leaning into venture and investing in early stage companies has been a meaningful risk. It challenged me to learn a new side of business and it has been rewarding and eye opening.
What drew you to hosting Netflix’s Next Gen Chef?
Food has always been a huge part of my life. I grew up in a big Italian family where everything revolved around cooking and gathering and my family owns a handful of restaurants in Rhode Island and Boston. Many of the recipes I use today have been passed down for generations. When the opportunity came up, it felt very natural. I loved connecting with the chefs and learning from them throughout the experience.
“If something does not align with our values or the life we are building, it is an easy no.”
How do you decide which opportunities to pursue?
I have to genuinely care about it. I am very all or nothing, so if I am not excited, it is not the right fit. When I commit, I give it everything.
What will you not sacrifice for success?
My family. If something does not align with our values or the life we are building, it is an easy no.
What advice would you give to someone pursuing a similar path?
Study the people you admire and understand the steps they took, then make it your own. Use that insight as a blueprint, not a formula.
What does success look like to you now?
It is about feeling proud of what I am doing.
What would you do more of if you had the time?
I would love to study more languages!
