What is your earliest beauty memory?

Me and my twin sister playing in our mother’s makeup and clothes :)

What do you think is different about the beauty industry now versus five years ago?

I’d say that short-form has completely shifted the beauty industry. It was always a speedy space, but short-form has brought it to a whole other level.

When you’re working on a piece of content, where do you draw inspiration from?

Nothing is off limits. From my favorite tv shows, my own dreams, or other creatives I admire.

Where, if at all, do you think the industry is still falling short when it comes to inclusivity or representation?

Inclusivity all around, not just with one product but in the entire brand.

What’s something about building a beauty platform that people don’t talk about enough?

Hmmm, with how saturated this space is I don’t know if there is much people don’t talk about haha. But, I think it’s helpful to remember how important it is to allow yourself to evolve.

Name someone (whether a celebrity, mentor, or personal acquaintance) that has changed your outlook on beauty standards for the better. What have they taught you by example?

Grace Jones. Being an icon is a personal journey.

As you think about the future of your brand, what is a goal you have that both excites you and scares you?

I hope to always allow myself to follow wherever both excites me and grounds me.

What is a product (whether from your own line of products or another) that has changed your get-ready routine for the better?

Bronzer!!!!!

What’s one product that never leaves your purse?

A hydrating lip balm or treatment. Right now, it’s Rhode’s peptide lip treatment.

With so many beauty trends that come and go, how do you define the look that’s good for you?

By recognizing what I love and why, and sticking to it! Using the same products, brands, etc. that I know I love. It’s important to remember you don’t need it all.

What’s one piece of advice you’d give to an aspiring content creator? What do they need in order to stand out?

Allow yourself to be yourself.
