When did you decide you wanted to branch out and build your own fashion brand, Parke, from the ground up? Were there voids in the market that you saw going unfulfilled?
I always knew I wanted to build something of my own, and I’ve been passionate about fashion for as long as I can remember. It really started with my love for the perfect pair of jeans and a white tee. I felt like there wasn’t a true destination for high-quality, everyday staples that still felt elevated, so that’s what we set out to create with Parke. From denim to cozy sets to core basics, it’s always been about pieces you can live in and feel your best in.
We see you as a rising star and entrepreneur who has accomplished so much in a short time—what hard work and sacrifices have you made over the last year that really paid off?
That’s so kind, thank you. I’m honestly just taking everything one day at a time. I’ve been working pretty much nonstop and have had to say no to a lot to stay focused and keep building. It’s definitely required a lot of discipline, but seeing the growth and the community continue to show up makes it all worth it.
Did you raise capital for your business—and if so, what surprised you most about the process?
We’ve actually been fully self-funded since the beginning, which I’m incredibly proud of and grateful for!
You recently announced a limited-time collaboration with Target. How long has this partnership been in the works, and is your goal to partner with major retailers long-term?
This partnership has been in the works for over a year and a half. I’ve been a fan of Target since I was young, so it was incredibly meaningful when they approached us. It really has been a dream. We’re always looking for ways to bring Parke to new audiences, so I’m open and excited to see what the future holds when it comes to partnerships.
“I always knew I wanted to build something of my own, and I’ve been passionate about fashion for as long as I can remember.”
Going after what you deserve in life takes confidence and guts. What has helped you build trust in your own instincts as more opportunities come your way?
I’ve always led with my instincts and kind of just gone for things, even when it feels scary. I also really lean on my friends, family, and our community. Having that support and perspective has helped me trust myself a lot more.
What’s been your “I can’t believe this is my life” moment lately?
Seeing people across the country shopping Parke in Target. That genuinely didn’t feel real.
When you’re feeling insecure, afraid, or just not up to the task at hand, what gives you strength to push through anyway?
My team and my support system. I really couldn’t do any of this without them.
What’s currently on your vision board (literally or mentally)?
Growing my family, I’m actually having a baby this month, which is so exciting. And continuing to grow our team and expand into new categories.
Where do you hope to see your brand five years from now?
So much has happened in just four years, it’s hard to even imagine what the next five will look like. My goal is for Parke to become a full lifestyle brand and a globally recognized name that people can rely on for their everyday wardrobe. We want to continue expanding categories and really help our community build a full wardrobe, not just individual pieces. I see it becoming something that fits seamlessly into every part of your day while still feeling elevated and intentional.
