AT JUST 19 YEARS OLD, Miranda McKeon HAD HER ENTIRE LIFE rewritten OVERNIGHT.
After being diagnosed with stage III breast cancer during her freshman year of college, she emerged from treatment with a completely different perspective on time, purpose, and what it means to build a meaningful life. Since then, McKeon has transformed her personal journey into a powerful platform centered on women’s health, vulnerability, and connection — all while growing initiatives like Fill Your Tank and her breast cancer advocacy work through Pink 365.
There’s an undeniable warmth and optimism to the way McKeon moves through the world, whether she’s creating spaces for women to feel less alone or simply hearing that strangers are playing her card game at girls’ nights across the country. Thoughtful, grounded, and refreshingly honest, Miranda is building far more than a personal brand; she’s building community. Read about Miranda McKeon’s journey in her C&C 100 interview below.
When did you decide you wanted to build your own brand instead of going the traditional 9-5 route?
When I was 19, after my freshman year at USC, I was diagnosed with stage III breast cancer. Ten months of treatment completely rerouted my life and showed me how fragile time really is. Coming out of that, I felt a real urgency to build something meaningful. I had already started sharing my experience online, and instead of going back to what I thought I should do, I decided to take a chance on myself—building my personal brand, advocating for women’s health, and eventually creating Fill Your Tank.
We see you as a rising star who has accomplished so much in a short time—what hard work and sacrifices have you made over the last year that really paid off?
When your work is tied to your purpose, it quickly becomes all-encompassing. Over the last year, I’ve sacrificed a lot of boundaries. There isn’t really an off-switch. But I’ve also stayed incredibly consistent, even when things felt slow or uncertain. That willingness to keep showing up has made the biggest difference.
Going after what you deserve in life takes confidence and guts. What has helped you build trust in your own instincts as more opportunities come your way?
Gratitude has grounded me the most. It reminds me that I already have what I need to do my best work. From there, it’s easier to trust my instincts and not feel like I have to chase every opportunity that comes my way. I’ve also learned that alignment matters more than optics…just because something looks good doesn’t mean it’s right for me.
What’s been your “I can’t believe this is my life” moment lately?
Seeing people I don’t know playing Fill Your Tank at a girls’ night or dinner. Or when someone stops me on the street and says they love my content. It never feels normal in the best way. Those moments remind me that what I’m building is actually landing in people’s real lives.
“Confidence comes after the action, not before it.”
When you’re feeling insecure, afraid, or just not up to the task at hand, what gives you strength to push through anyways?
I’ve learned that consistency matters more than how I feel. I’ve built an identity around being someone who shows up and gets it done, regardless of whether there’s an immediate reward. That’s what carries me through doubt. The confidence comes after the action, not before it.
What’s currently on your vision board (literally or mentally)?
Building a foundation that expands Pink 365 and brings real resources and support to women living with and beyond breast cancer. Not just online, but in real life. I want to create spaces and tools that make people feel less alone in it. Turning conversation into tangible support is the goal.
Where do you hope to be five years from now?
Running a company rooted in connection, with Fill Your Tank reaching people globally. I want Pink 365 to grow into something that truly impacts women’s healthcare experiences, and personally, I hope I’m still creating a life that feels aligned and full. Success to me looks like both scale and depth…reaching more people while staying true to why I started.
