Jeannie Mai is an Emmy Award-winning television host, producer, executive producer, entrepreneur, digital personality, and advocate whose authenticity, style, and heart have made her one of today’s most dynamic multi-hyphenates. Most recently, Jeannie appeared in and executive produced the Apple TV docuseries Balance, spotlighting the importance of perimenopause education and awareness. For her work in women’s health, she was honored with the Women’s Health and Wellness Trailblazer of the Year Award by New You in 2026. She has also twice hosted WWD’s Real-Time Digital Show at the Golden Globes as head red carpet correspondent.

Jeannie currently hosts and executive produces America’s Test Kitchen: The Next Generation for Amazon Freevee and Prime Video, and previously co-hosted CBS’ hit game show Raid the Cage. She has become a trusted voice for major live events, serving as the Los Angeles emcee for Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve in 2023 and 2024, and hosting the 71st and 72nd Miss Universe competitions in New Orleans and El Salvador.

As co-host and executive producer of the nationally syndicated talk show The Real for eight seasons, Jeannie earned a Daytime Emmy Award for Outstanding Talk Show Host and an Emmy Award for producing, becoming the first Vietnamese woman to win an Emmy. Known for her honesty, humor, and ability to connect with audiences, she has also appeared on Dancing with the Stars, ABC’s Holey Moley, and created the popular digital series Hello Hunnay.

A recognized changemaker, Jeannie was named to the Gold House A100 list honoring impactful Asian leaders in culture. She is a passionate advocate against sex trafficking, earning the 2019 Pioneer Woman of the Year Award and creating the award-winning documentaries Stopping Traffic and Stopping Traffic 2. As Chief Brand Officer of Owl’s Brew, she combines entrepreneurship with purpose, helping grow the boozy tea brand’s presence in the beverage space.
