FOUNDER OF BLANK SPACE
Natalie Byrne is on a mission to inspire audiences to find their purpose and use it to build a better world. As founder of blank space®, an impact and communications strategy practice, she works with mission-driven brands, top CEOs, celebrities, and philanthropists to activate their platforms, scale their impact, and create meaningful legacy.
Decades in the field advising Founders and Leaders as they navigate transitions such as post-acquisition, impact capital allocation, transfer of wealth and integrating next gen; she developed the blank space method® that aligns the personal with the professional and launched the Legacy Council to coach thought leaders ready to lead with the heart, purpose and legacy that built their success.
Recently she founded BE Human, a leadership and storytelling platform that debuted at CGI and UNGA 2025, focused on helping people navigate the real implications of AI on decision-making, creativity, and power. Since launching, BE Human has convened impact leaders and members of the creative community through highly engaged sessions, and programs supporting women in the workforce.
The blank space® method evolved after her tenure leading brand purpose strategy for Unilever’s Prestige portfolio and thought leadership for Unilever Founders post-acquisition, which included Dermalogica and establishing a blueprint for purpose tied to business growth. She has worked with Fortune 500 brands to build and lead private-public partnerships that include multisector coalitions with the UN, White House, State Dept and in partnership with 50+ private sector companies and foundations, such as UNstereotype and WW Healthy Living Coalition.
Byrne serves on Loyola Marymount University’s Business College Advisory Board and was on Milken’s Young Leaders Circle. She was honored to be a White House delegate under President Obama and is a member of the Explorers Club. She has worked closely with the UN since 2012 on innovative leadership and SDGs.
