Watch Me Work: Why Being a Mom Can Be a Business Superpower

Let’s get real. Parenting isn’t easy.

Throw in a full-time career or business and you can safely toss your work/life balance out the window. But who’s even talking about balance anymore? We all know that’s an illusion.

In fact, new research from LeanIn.Org shows that women are maxing out and burning out during COVID-19 due to increased housework and caregiving.

So, we’re officially replacing the “having it all” mantra with “having it most” because we’re all doing the best we can, and quite frankly, that’s good enough.

As a woman who is not yet a mom, I’m inspired daily by the many badass mompreneurs that fill my feeds, so much so it makes me even more excited to get there. Why? Because clearly, being a mom really is a business superpower! In this roundtable conversation, we chat with five women on building a career while bringing up baby, how they’re navigating motherhood in a pandemic, and their advice for other parents doing the same.
